This is a strategic portfolio role focused on connecting business priorities, technology demand and investment decisions. You’ll act as a key technology partner to the business, providing a holistic view of demand and helping shape what gets prioritised, when and why.
About the role
As Technology Portfolio Manager, you’ll act as a key technology partner to a major business domain, developing a strong understanding of its priorities and translating these into a clear, prioritised view of technology demand.

Sitting between business, Technology, Architecture, Delivery, Finance and strategic vendors, you’ll provide the visibility and insight needed to make informed decisions around priorities, investment, dependencies and sequencing.
In this role you will:
- Manage portfolio demand intake, prioritisation and sequencing.
- Facilitate technology roadmap planning and prioritisation.
- Translate business priorities into clear technology demand and investment requirements.
- Maintain visibility across dependencies, constraints, risks and capacity.
- Provide portfolio reporting and insights into governance and investment decisions.
- Work across business leaders, Architecture, Delivery, Finance, Technology and vendors.
- Support continuous improvement across portfolio planning and demand management.
About you
You’ll be comfortable operating between business and technology, bringing structure to competing priorities and influencing senior stakeholders without direct authority.

You’ll bring:
- Experience in technology portfolio management, transformation, EPMO/PMO or enterprise technology planning.
- Strong portfolio demand management, prioritisation and roadmap planning experience.
- Experience with large-scale ERP or enterprise platforms, ideally Oracle or SAP.
- Understanding of portfolio governance and investment planning.
- Strong commercial, analytical and stakeholder management skills.
- The ability to translate complex information into clear, decision-ready insights.
