Technical Project coordinator

Technical Project Coordinator | Contract (End of Dec, extension is likely) | Auckland (Hybrid)

We’re looking for a proactive and delivery-focused Technical Coordinator to support a large-scale mobile migration programme. This role will work closely alongside the Project Manager to help bring delivery back on track across a highly visible and business-critical initiative.

The programme is focused on migrating mobile devices from regional/district tenancies into a national mobile environment as part of a wider collaboration and identity transformation programme. This role would suit someone who enjoys getting into the detail, coordinating moving parts, solving problems, and rolling their sleeves up to help a project succeed.

About the role
You’ll play a key role in coordinating and tracking the migration of mobile devices into a national MDM environment. This includes working with regional teams, vendors, technical resources, and project stakeholders to understand device status, identify blockers, and ensure progress remains on track.

You’ll also assist with identifying district-specific mobile applications and dependencies to ensure critical services continue to function throughout the migration process.

Your key responsibilities include:

• Support the Project Manager with delivery coordination and tracking
• Manage and maintain migration data, reporting, and status visibility
• Work with vendors and regional teams to coordinate mobile device unenrolment and migration activities
• Investigate and resolve data gaps, inconsistencies, and delivery blockers
• Coordinate information gathering across multiple districts and stakeholders
• Support application discovery activities across mobile devices
• Help identify risks, dependencies, and technical issues impacting delivery
• Keep delivery activities organised, prioritised, and progressing

About you

You’ll be someone who is highly organised, proactive, and comfortable operating in fast-moving environments with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.

You may come from a Technical Coordinator, Project Coordinator, Service Delivery, Deployment, EUC, Mobility, or Infrastructure support background and enjoy bridging the gap between technical teams and project delivery.

You'll bring experience with: 

• Experience supporting technical or infrastructure-focused projects
• Strong coordination and stakeholder management skills
• Comfortable working with technical data, reporting, and tracking
• Exposure to MDM/mobile device environments (Intune, Workspace ONE, AirWatch, etc.) is highly beneficial
• Experience working across multiple vendors or complex environments
• Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to proactively unblock issues
• Confident communicating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
