You’ll work closely with the CRM team to understand friction across existing customer journeys and help create a more connected approach across CRM, marketing automation, data and the wider MarTech ecosystem. The broader role is focused on building scalable, data-driven customer journeys and ensuring technology, data and automation work together effectively.
About the role You’ll help shape and execute the MarTech strategy, with a particular focus on how different platforms, data sources and customer touchpoints come together.
This will include:
- Working directly with the CRM team to understand current pain points and orchestrate improved customer journeys.
- Looking beyond individual MarTech channels and considering how the wider CRM and customer ecosystem works collectively.
- Designing and optimising automated workflows across marketing, service, cross-sell and customer engagement.
- Supporting integrations and data flows across platforms, including APIs and data ingestion.
- Working with technologies and approaches such as data clean rooms and preference centres.
- Using customer and performance data to continually improve journeys, automation and personalisation.
- Working across marketing, data, analytics, technology and other teams to turn strategy into practical solutions.
About you
We’re looking for someone who is equally comfortable thinking strategically and doing the work.
You’ll ideally bring:
- Strong experience across MarTech, CRM and/or marketing automation.
- Hands-on experience integrating and optimising marketing automation platforms.
- A good technical understanding of data flows, APIs, integrations and ingestion.
- Experience designing and orchestrating customer journeys across multiple channels and touchpoints.
- Exposure to clean rooms, preference centres and customer data environments.
- The ability to move comfortably between high-level strategy, solution design and hands-on execution.
- Strong stakeholder skills and the ability to work closely with both technical and non-technical teams.
- A personable, collaborative approach and the confidence to influence how things are done.
- Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Data Cloud experience would be advantageous,
Based in Auckland with hybrid working available.
