Fantastic opportunity for a Java developer ready to step into a customer-facing role while staying hands-on. This position blends technical leadership, solution design, and delivery within a complex enterprise environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead customer workshops to gather requirements and design scalable, secure solutions.
- Provide technical estimates and ensure alignment with architectural standards.
- Participate across the full SDLC — design, development, testing, and deployment.
- Develop software components, integrations, and data solutions.
- Collaborate within Agile teams, produce clear documentation, and deliver excellent customer service.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Strong experience delivering client-facing technical solutions, ideally within enterprise or digital transformation programmes.
- Extensive hands-on Java development experience, including REST/SOAP integrations.
- Solid understanding of enterprise integration patterns and solution design.
- Cloud experience (preferably AWS) and familiarity with Agile delivery.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Java frameworks (e.g., Spring MVC) and multi-tier architectures.
- Integration technologies and protocols.
- Relational databases (Oracle/SQL Server).
- DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Docker, GitHub, Gradle, and Kubernetes.
- AWS services and development toolkits preferred.
