Solutions Architect - Supply Chain & Automation

Solution Architect Supply Chain & Automation | Contract (12-month) | Auckland (Hybrid)

We’re looking for an experienced Solution Architect to support a significant supply chain programme within a large, complex organisation.

Working across technology, supply chain teams and specialist vendors, you’ll help shape the architecture behind a range of warehouse automation and inventory initiatives. This includes robotics and autonomous warehouse technologies, RFID, GS1/GTIN and other emerging technologies being introduced across the supply chain environment.

About the role

In this role you’ll take an end-to-end view of the solution, ensuring new technologies integrate effectively with existing warehouse, inventory, fulfilment and enterprise platforms. You’ll be involved in:

• Developing end-to-end solution architecture across supply chain initiatives and supporting robotics and autonomous warehouse technology initiatives.
• Designing integrations between WMS, warehouse automation and wider enterprise systems
• Architecture relating to RFID, inventory identification and GS1/GTIN standards
• Defining integration patterns, APIs, events and data flows
• Ensuring solutions meet security, scalability, resilience and operational requirements

About you
You’ll be a senior Solution Architect with experience working across complex supply chain, logistics, distribution or warehouse environments. You'll bring experience with:

• Supply chain and warehouse solution architecture
• Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Warehouse automation, robotics, AMRs/AGVs or automated material handling
• Integration architecture, APIs and event-driven solutions
• Inventory, fulfilment and related supply chain systems
• RFID, IoT or inventory tracking technologies
• Working with enterprise platforms and specialist technology vendors

Experience with Geek+ or another warehouse robotics platform would be highly advantageous, as would exposure to GS1/GTIN standards and RFID-enabled supply chain solutions.
