This is a senior architecture role within a well-established Architecture function that works closely with technology leadership to shape enterprise strategy, guide delivery, and ensure architectural integrity across the organisation.
About the role In this role you'll provide authoritative solution leadership across complex, integrated platforms. You’ll operate comfortably at both strategic and delivery levels, translating business intent into secure, scalable architectures while guiding teams through execution.
This role suits an architect who is trusted, pragmatic, and technically credible, with deep experience in modern Microsoft-centric enterprise environments and a strong appreciation for governance, security, and risk.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the design and documentation of end-to-end solution architectures aligned to enterprise strategy
- Drive solution integration across cloud, on-prem, and hybrid platforms
- Work closely with enterprise architects to ensure alignment with architecture roadmaps, standards, and patterns
- Provide architectural leadership across Microsoft technologies, including cloud platforms, identity, integration, and productivity services
- Engage senior stakeholders, delivery leads, and partners to shape roadmaps and resolve architectural constraints
- Guide delivery teams to ensure solutions are implemented as designed and meet security, resilience, and performance expectations
- Mentor engineers and architects, uplifting capability and consistency across teams
To be successful in this role, you'll bring:
- Significant experience in senior solution or enterprise architecture roles within complex organisations
- Strong background designing solutions in Microsoft-based enterprise environments (cloud and hybrid)
- Proven experience modernising legacy platforms and guiding transformation initiatives
- Confidence working across strategy, design, and delivery
- Strong governance mindset with the ability to balance control and delivery pace
- Experience working with external partners and vendors, including oversight of delivery quality
- Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience; architecture, cloud, or security certifications are advantageous
