The Role
You'll be embedded in a capable engineering team, working across BAU support, security, performance, and a couple of meaningful uplift projects. The work is largely infrastructure and code-focused. What matters more is that you're technically sharp, proactive, and comfortable working with some ambiguity.
- BAU maintenance and day-to-day technical support
- Security hardening and IAM permissions management on AWS
- Performance optimisation and code clean-up
- Replacing the existing monitoring and observability system
- Internal tools upgrade
- Some light front-end work (HTMX, Tailwind), a real bonus
Must-haves:
- Strong C# full-stack experience, both OOP and functional programming welcomed
- Solid, demonstrable AWS knowledge
- Hands-on experience with DynamoDB
- Some SQL experience
- Confidence across infrastructure, back-end systems, and security
- Exposure to HTMX and Tailwind
- Collaborative and communicative; you'll be working alongside engineers, PMs, and other stakeholders
- Proactive and able to use your initiative
- Comfortable with some ambiguity and capable of seeking out the right people for context
- Focused on quality output, with a strong sense of integrity given the sensitivity of client data
- Willing to contribute to process documentation as the business grows into this space
This business is at an exciting point in its maturation journey, with potential for further extension onto other pipelined projects. There's no shortage of interesting work to hit go on, and an ASAP start means you'll be adding value from week one.
