About the Role
You'll take ownership of end-to-end project delivery, ensuring programmes are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned to strategic objectives.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading complex technology and business transformation projects from initiation through to implementation
- Managing project plans, budgets, resources, risks, issues, dependencies, and reporting
- Establishing governance frameworks and providing regular updates to senior stakeholders
- Coordinating internal teams, delivery partners, and external vendors
- Driving successful delivery across software, infrastructure, integration, testing, and operational readiness workstreams
- Managing project financials, forecasting, and commercial outcomes
- Leading deployment, cutover, transition, and post-implementation activities
- Building strong relationships across executive, operational, and technical stakeholder groups
We're looking for a seasoned project delivery professional who thrives in complex environments and can confidently lead large-scale initiatives involving multiple workstreams and stakeholder groups.
You'll bring:
- 10+ years' experience delivering large and complex technology projects or programmes
- Strong project governance, risk, issue, and dependency management experience
- Proven ability to manage senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams
- Experience delivering software, systems integration, infrastructure, or digital transformation projects
- Strong commercial and financial management capability
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Experience working within Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery environments
- Transport technology, ticketing, payments, or mobility solutions
- Public sector or government programmes
- Customer-facing digital platforms
- Critical infrastructure environments
- Large-scale systems integration and technology transformation programmes
