What You'll Be Doing
Performance Reporting (primary focus)
- Lead analysis of financial results, identifying key trends, drivers and risks requiring management attention
- Serve as the go-to expert on the results across the Group
- Prepare and review internal and external reporting packs, including Board materials, flash reports and results announcements
- Partner directly with business unit leads to monitor performance against budgets and return on capital targets
- Influence senior stakeholders and contribute to initiatives designed to meet financial targets
- Model projected financial outcomes and report on actuals
- Support the delivery of robust annual plans, budgets and periodic forecasts
- Ensure stakeholder engagement, model granularity and governance requirements are met throughout the planning cycle
- Work with the business to ensure forecast inputs reflect current plans, pricing intentions and commercial activity
- Mentor and develop Senior Analysts and Analysts within the team
- Contribute to the Finance vision and champion a collaborative, high-performance culture
- CA, CPA or ACCA qualified (required)
- 7–10+ years in FP&A, ideally within financial services (banking, insurance or fintech)
- Proven track record in management performance reporting, analysis and enterprise forecasting cycles
- Strong communicator with confidence presenting to and influencing senior leadership
- Commercial acumen ability to translate financial data into strategic decisions
- Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills; exposure to Power BI advantageous
- Self-driven, resilient and comfortable operating at pace in a complex environment
