Reporting to the Head of Group Planning & Performance, you'll be at the heart of financial decision-making building robust models, driving performance reporting, and partnering with senior stakeholders across the business.
What You'll Be Doing
- Financial Modelling & Analysis: Design, build, and maintain sophisticated financial models including forecasts, scenario analysis, sensitivities, and business cases. You'll work with large, complex datasets to surface trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Performance Reporting & Planning: Deliver timely, insightful analysis to support budgeting, forecasting, and longer-term planning cycles. Explain variances and forward-looking implications with clarity.
- Business Partnering: Collaborate with senior stakeholders across the business, translating financial results into plain language and constructively challenging assumptions with data-driven recommendations.
- Continuous Improvement: Champion best-practice modelling standards and contribute to lifting analytical capability and financial discipline across the organisation.
What You'll Bring
- Proven experience in a Finance Analyst or Senior Finance Analyst role
- Advanced Excel-based financial modelling skills, complex formulas, scenario modelling, large datasets
- Strong analytical thinking with the ability to translate complexity into clear, actionable insights
- High initiative and ownership, you take pride in the quality and rigor of your work
- Confidence to challenge assumptions and influence outcomes through evidence
- A tertiary qualification in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- Experience in banking or financial services is an advantage, though not essential
- CA or CPA qualification desirable but not required
