We're placing multiple Senior Business Analysts into a multi-year initiative delivering new digital platforms and capability. These are 12-month fixed-term roles with strong extension prospects.
About the programme
The programme is delivering several interconnected platforms across data, operational tooling, and communications. It's a large, multi-workstream environment where strong BA capability is central to success. Requirements need to be clear, traceable, and built to work across a broad stakeholder group.
The role
Senior Business Analyst (multiple positions)
Leading requirements definition and process analysis across multiple workstreams, you'll work with a wide range of stakeholders. Your day-to-day will include:
- Leading requirements, process mapping, and gap analysis
- Facilitating workshops with stakeholders across the programme
- Producing clear BRDs, user stories, process maps, and other BA artefacts
- Maintaining traceability from business need through to signed-off requirements
- Contributing to Agile ceremonies and adoption planning
- Identifying and escalating risks as they emerge
- Proven Senior BA experience on complex NZ public sector technology programmes
- Strong requirements elicitation skills, with clear, structured, traceable artefacts
- Experience facilitating workshops with diverse stakeholders
- Agile delivery experience alongside structured documentation obligations
- Able to manage multiple concurrent workstreams independently
