We have two exciting contract opportunities for talented Decision Support Partners to join a Finance & Commercial team that supports an organisation based in the Waikato. These are genuinely impactful roles — you'll be the critical link between finance and the wider business, providing the analysis and insights that shape strategic and operational decisions across the organisation. Whether you're an experienced senior analyst ready to lead or a developing professional eager to grow we are keen to hear from you.
What You'll Be Doing
- Delivering high-quality financial and operational analysis — cost analysis, utilisation, variance and scenario modelling
- Supporting the Annual Plan and Long Term Plan budgeting and forecasting processes
- Developing dashboards, models and BI tools that turn complex data into clear, actionable insights
- Acting as a trusted advisor to Budget Managers, senior leaders and stakeholders
- Driving continuous improvement in financial processes, reporting systems and analytics capability
Essential:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to interpret and communicate financial and operational data
- Proficiency in Excel and BI tools
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills
- Sound business acumen
- Ideally experience with Technology One
- A relevant tertiary qualification in finance, economics, data analytics or a related field
- CA or similar
