Our Manukau-based client is a values-led organisation known for its strong culture and commitment to delivering an outstanding customer experience.

They are currently looking to bring on Lead Engagement Specialists to support their growth by proactively engaging and qualifying prospective customers through outbound calling.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys the challenge of sales conversations, lead calling, and reaching lead conversion targets. If you thrive on great conversations, building rapport quickly, and moving leads through the early stages of the customer journey, this could be a great fit.

The Opportunity

As a Lead Engagement Specialist, you will play a key role in contacting and qualifying warm leads, helping move them through the initial stages of engagement before handing them over to the wider team.

Your focus will be on confident outbound calling, building rapport quickly, and identifying genuine opportunities, ensuring each interaction is positive, informative, and moves the lead forward.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct high-volume outbound calls to engage and qualify leads.
  • Identify interest, assess suitability, and progress qualified leads through the pipeline.
  • Provide clear and accurate information to prospective customers.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of conversations, enquiries, and follow-ups.
  • Work closely with the wider team to ensure qualified leads are passed through effectively.
  • Support broader engagement and outreach initiatives designed to grow demand.
About You
  • Experience in sales, customer service, lead generation, or outbound calling.
  • Confident communicator who enjoys phone-based engagement and relationship building.
  • Comfortable working toward targets, conversion goals, or activity metrics.
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail and accurate data entry.
  • Ability to quickly build rapport with a diverse range of people.
  • Positive, proactive attitude and comfortable working in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Experience in the education sector is a bonus
Other Requirements
  • Commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi and cultural competency.
  • Availability to work late shifts (up to 7pm) and occasional Saturdays.
  • Immediate start preferred.
