This is a genuine relationship-management role rather than a hard-sales one. You'll be looking after an existing customer base, keeping them happy, and spotting the right moments to introduce additional products and services. If you enjoy building trust with clients over time and want to work somewhere that rewards you for growing the accounts you own, this could be the role for you!
The Role
You'll take ownership of a portfolio of customers, acting as their main point of contact and ensuring they get real value from what they've signed up for. Day to day, that means staying close to your accounts, communicating clearly and often, and working with internal teams to make sure the customer experience holds up at every touchpoint.
There's a strong growth component to the role too. You'll be expected to identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities across the full product and service range, and to convert those into revenue.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with customers to encourage loyalty and long-term retention
- Deliver regular customer updates covering product developments and partner offerings
- Identify and pursue upsell and cross-sell opportunities across the full suite of products and services
- Collaborate with internal teams to improve the overall customer experience
- Track and report against key performance measures, including revenue growth, retention, and customer satisfaction
Essential:
- Strong commercial acumen
- Excellent relationship-building and communication skills
- A customer-centric mindset, balanced with a proactive approach to meeting business objectives
- The ability to juggle multiple customer accounts without dropping the ball
- A knack for spotting growth opportunities within existing accounts
- Experience in managed services, technology, or telecommunications
- Familiarity with MSP agreements or service delivery environments
