- Lead a workstream
- Rolling 6 month contract for 2 year project
About the role
You’ll lead the coordination and delivery of a complex workstream focused on strengthening clinical safety, quality, monitoring, assurance and governance.
Working closely with programme leadership, other Delivery Leads, clinical leaders, operational teams and subject matter experts, you’ll ensure activity remains coordinated, dependencies are understood and key milestones and outcomes are delivered.
This is a role for someone who can operate at both a strategic and hands-on delivery level by bringing structure to complexity, keeping stakeholders aligned and removing barriers to progress.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Providing day-to-day leadership and coordination across the workstream
- Driving delivery against agreed plans, milestones and outputs
- Proactively managing risks, issues, dependencies and competing priorities
- Managing interdependencies with other programme workstreams to support integrated delivery
- Coordinating cross-functional clinical, operational, data and digital stakeholders
- Identifying and helping remove barriers impacting delivery
- Preparing clear status reporting, papers and updates for programme governance and senior leadership forums
We’re looking for someone with:
- Strong experience leading complex programmes, projects, workstreams or service improvement initiatives
- Proven delivery experience within large, complex organisations
- Strong planning, coordination and delivery management capability
- Experience managing significant risks, dependencies and competing priorities
- The ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments and balance different perspectives while maintaining momentum
- Confidence working with senior leaders, clinical stakeholders and subject matter experts
- The ability to move comfortably between strategic leadership and hands-on delivery
A formal programme or project management qualification would also be beneficial.
You must have the right to work in New Zealand and be available to start at short notice.
