We are working with an organisation that has hit 'go' on a major software build, and now require a Full Stack Developer who can carry the ball through data migration and into hypercare. This isn't a pure build role, they need someone who's equally comfortable firefighting, supporting users, and keeping a complex system stable when it counts.

The Role:
  • Support and execute data migration activities - validation, troubleshooting, and quality checks across source and target systems
  • Own the post-go-live hypercare period: first responder for issues, fast triage, clear comms to stakeholders
  • Develop and maintain the application across the full stack (Django + FastAPI + Azure)
  • Build and monitor ETL pipelines and data quality frameworks
  • Work alongside BAs and operations specialists on functional QA and user experience
  • Integrate with platforms including Snowflake and Power BI
  • Write clear documentation for APIs, data flows, and support procedures
What You'll Bring:
  • Solid Python skills, Django and/or FastAPI in a production environment
  • Hands-on experience with data migration projects where you've been in the room when things get messy
  • Proven ability to support end users through a hypercare or go-live stabilisation period
  • Strong troubleshooting instincts - you ask the right questions and fix things properly
  • Experience with Azure cloud environments and containerised deployments
  • PostgreSQL or SQL Server — you know your way around a database
Nice to have:
  • Exposure to medallion data architecture (Bronze/Silver/Gold)
  • Familiarity with OAuth2/OIDC, Zero Trust principles, or NZISM security frameworks
  • Experience with Power BI or similar visualisation tools
Why This Role:
  • Meaningful work in a values-led organisation - what they do genuinely matters
  • A collaborative team that trusts you to get on with it
  • Hybrid working — 3 days in the Auckland office, 2 from home
  • Hit the ground running on an active programme of work with real ownership
How to Apply:
