Reporting directly to the CFO, you'll take ownership of the month-end close process and deliver accurate, timely financial reporting across the business and its related entities. This is a hands-on role with real impact from day one.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Preparing monthly P&L, Balance Sheet
  • Managing Work in Progress accruals in line with project status and contract values
  • Processing journals, accruals, and intercompany transactions
  • Compiling Finance and Board reporting packs
  • Managing daily cashflow, bank reconciliations, and AP/AR functions
  • Maintaining financial records and compliance in line with NZ accounting standards
What You'll Bring
  • Tertiary qualification in Finance, Accounting, or Business (CA/CPA preferred)
  • 4+ years' hands-on experience in a financial accounting role
  • Strong systems skills (experience with Exonet, Workbench, or Acumatica is a bonus)
  • Construction or engineering industry background highly advantageous
  • Ability to hit the ground running with minimal handover
