This is a unique fixed-term opportunity reporting directly to the CFO. The role sits at the heart of the finance function — leading an ERP implementation while also ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the finance team and maintaining integrity and compliance in this high-transaction business.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Serving as the lead project representative for the implementation
- Working closely with implementation partners to support the Finance Team and end users with workflow and system training
- Keeping key stakeholders informed and providing recommendations throughout the project
- Ensuring data integrity including mapping to the new reporting format, and supporting workflow changes post Go Live
- Providing leadership, inspiring and empowering the finance team to deliver outstanding service
- Managing day-to-day financial and general accounting operations for the business
- Ensuring the delivery of accurate and timely monthly and annual financial reports
- Collaborating with the CFO and Reporting Manager on budgeting, forecasting and financial planning
- Maintaining strong financial controls to mitigate risk
- Oversight of financial reviews/audits, IRD interactions, taxation and internal controls
- Contributing to finance projects and ongoing process improvement initiatives
About you
You will be a CAANZ qualified (or equivalent) senior finance professional who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. You bring proven experience at a Finance Manager level, with hands-on finance system implementation experience — MS Dynamics Business Central or Navision highly preferred. You are a calm, confident and highly organised individual with strong project leadership capability, excellent communication and influencing skills, and a natural affinity with systems.
