Reporting to the CFO, the role of Finance Manager is crucial in ensuring the smooth day to day running of the finance team and maintaining integrity and compliance in this high transaction business.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Providing leadership, inspiring and empowering the team to deliver outstanding service
- Manage the day to day financial and general accounting operations for the business
- Ensuring the delivery of accurate and timely monthly and annual financial reports
- Work collaboratively with the CFO and Reporting Manager for budgeting, forecasting and financial planning
- Maintain strong financial controls to mitigate risk
- Oversight of financial reviews/audits, IRD interactions, taxation oversight and internal controls
- Key contributor on finance projects and process improvement
You will be CAANZ qualified and an experienced finance professional who is looking for a role within a business that truly is all about making a difference in peoples’ lives. It is a high volume, fast paced environment that requires a calm, confident and highly organised individual to lead the team to deliver quality outputs for the business. This role needs this person to have proven experience at a senior level, with a background in delivering financial integrity, the ability to problem solve, think on their feet and be a great communicator and influencer. You will need to have a natural affinity with systems and preferably experience with process improvements.
