The Role :
This is a 5-month contract requiring strong BAU skills, and, less emphasis on the architecture/design front. This role is well-suited to an intermediate to senior-level operator with decent BAU exposure and experience. As part of a lean but effective team, your days will be varied and may include:
- Owning day-to-day EUC engineering and BAU operations
- Managing escalations from L1 and L2 service desk through to resolution
- Monthly patching of Windows, Office, and third-party applications, including vulnerability management
- Managing and progressing application packaging requests
- Driving the annual Windows 11 upgrade cycle
- Liaising with vendors for issue resolution as required
- Strong, hands-on SCCM / MECM experience
- Solid Intune / Microsoft Endpoint Manager experience in a co-management or modern management setting
- Group Policy management and troubleshooting
- Windows 11 troubleshooting at scale
- End-to-end application packaging experience
- Calm under pressure with strong stakeholder management during incidents
