The Role
You'll be the lead voice on all things data migration, working closely with the Technology Delivery Manager and wider programme team to get data across the line accurately and on time.
- Lead the design and delivery of the full data migration workstream
- Own migration deliverables including data mapping, specifications, extracts, transformations, uploads and testing
- Engage with legacy and source system vendors to secure data access and extracts
- Facilitate sign-off of migration deliverables with the relevant stakeholders
- Support Data Analysts and Source System SMEs throughout the process
- Monitor progress, flag risks early, and keep delivery on track
- Provide hands-on consultancy and pragmatic advice to the programme team
Must-haves:
- Proven experience leading data migrations in large ERP programmes
- Solid Oracle ERP data migration experience or similar
- Strong background in data cleansing, reconciliation and migration testing
- Demonstrated ability to navigate complex legacy environments
- Stakeholder management skills, particularly with technical and business teams
- Project management experience in a structured programme setting
This is a meaty, hands-on contract for someone who genuinely enjoys the challenge of complex data environments. The strategy work is done, so you'll hit the ground running on delivery.
