A well-known Auckland-based entity is looking for an experienced Data Delivery Lead to join a high-impact transformation programme. This is a hands-on delivery leadership role sitting at the centre of a complex, multi-year initiative.
The opportunity
This role exists to bring structure, clarity and pace to the delivery of data workstreams across a programme covering regulatory, operational and analytical reporting.
The environment is Snowflake-based with ETL platforms in play, alongside a migration away from a legacy SQL Server and enterprise data warehouse. A key focus is on regulatory reporting continuity as the business transitions its data processes and reporting model.
You'll be embedded in a programme environment, working across multiple business units and senior stakeholder groups, keeping delivery moving and teams set up to do their best work.
What you'll be doing
- Leading end-to-end delivery of data workstreams across planning, execution, integration and release
- Applying the right delivery approach for each initiative, blending agile, iterative and traditional methods as needed
- Making risks visible early, removing blockers and ensuring nothing falls between teams
- Presenting delivery updates clearly to senior leaders and ensuring alignment across stakeholders
- Navigating a complex, multi-vendor environment with competing priorities and interdependencies
What you'll bring
- Proven delivery leadership across large-scale data or technology transformation programmes
- Hands-on experience with modern data platforms and migration from legacy MS / SQL Server stacks
- Comfort operating in environments where processes are still maturing and team dynamics are evolving
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to communicate complex concepts simply and confidently
- Calm, credible and composed under pressure
