The Role:
This is an intermediate-level Data Analyst role sitting at the heart of the organisation's data function. You'll own the reporting suite, lead dashboard development, and work alongside an external data architecture vendor to keep data quality sharp. Think less number-crunching in isolation, more trusted advisor across departments.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Building and maintaining Power BI dashboards that give business leaders clear, actionable insights
- Owning data quality: identifying issues, driving fixes, and keeping things clean
- Collaborating with business units to understand what they need from data and delivering on it
- Working alongside an external vendor on data architecture and governance
- Spotting opportunities to improve processes and bring in smarter analytical approaches
What You'll Bring:
- Solid hands-on experience with Power BI: dashboard design, DAX, Power Query
- Strong SQL skills and a good grasp of data methodologies such as Kimball and Data Vault 2.0
- Experience implementing or maintaining data governance and quality frameworks
- Comfortable translating complex data into plain language for non-technical stakeholders
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and data warehousing; a bonus if you've worked with Azure DevOps or Git
