What You’ll Be Working On:
In this role, you’ll play a key part in keeping our environments secure, resilient, and well‑governed. You’ll have the autonomy to act proactively, partnering closely with technology and security stakeholders to identify and address risks before they become issues.
Your work will include:
- Proactively monitoring security alerts and responding to incidents and potential threats as they arise.
- Owning vulnerability identification and remediation using Tenable, including coordinating and managing related change requests.
- Investigating phishing attempts and suspicious activity using Office 365 Admin tools and network logs.
- Planning and executing monthly patching cycles across Dev, Test, and Production environments in the right sequence.
- Deploying and managing applications and configurations via SCCM across Windows Server and Desktop environments.
- Supporting security awareness and compliance initiatives through KnowBe4, working with users and leaders to drive engagement and completion.
You’ll bring a solid technical foundation and a practical, consultative approach to security operations, along with:
- Strong experience in Windows Server and Desktop systems engineering.
- Hands‑on experience managing patching processes across multiple environments, with an understanding of sequencing and automation.
- Practical experience using Tenable for vulnerability scanning and remediation.
- Exposure to SCCM for application deployment and configuration management.
- Working knowledge of Office 365 administration and network log analysis.
- Confidence operating within a defined cyber security framework while contributing to continuous improvement
