This is one of the most complex technology cutovers currently running in New Zealand. A well-known energy and infrastructure organisation needs an experienced Cutover Manager to take full ownership of go-live delivery on a programme with Board-level visibility, multi-system scope, and a cutover complexity that genuinely exceeds standard enterprise scale.
The Role
You'll be the central coordination point across all business and technology workstreams, from planning through dry runs, go-live, and into hypercare.

- Developing and owning the end-to-end cutover plan across multiple systems, processes and teams
- Running the war room cutover control centre throughout go-live and post-go-live phases
- Coordinating all pre-requisite tasks, cutover activities, post-cutover verification and business monitoring
- Planning and executing dry runs to surface risks and confirm readiness ahead of go-live
- Influencing workstreams and stakeholders across the programme to ensure cutover dependencies land on time
- Identifying and managing the resourcing needed to execute across all cutover phases
What You'll Bring
Must-haves:
- Proven experience as a Cutover Manager or Cutover Lead on large, complex enterprise programmes (multi-system, multi-team)
- A track record delivering in mission-critical environments where failure isn't an option
- Strong communicator, able to work across digital and operational audiences and translate complexity into clear direction
- Experience managing dry runs, cutover readiness, and hypercare frameworks
- NZ-based, with local large-programme experience
Nice to have:
- Background in utilities, energy, infrastructure or other regulated industries
- Experience with ADMS, ERP or operational technology programmes
- Post-go-live stabilisation and hypercare management at scale
