Some go-live events are bigger than others. This one has Board-level attention, multiple workstreams, and cutover complexity that sets it apart from most programmes running in New Zealand right now. If you've been in the trenches on a major IT cutover and know what it takes to get it right, this role is worth a look.
A well-known Auckland infrastructure organisation is delivering a significant technology transformation programme and needs a Cutover Analyst to help drive the go-live effort across multiple systems and teams.
The Role
Working closely with the Cutover Manager, you'll be responsible for:
- Documenting pre-requisite, cutover and post-implementation steps across all workstreams
- Coordinating and supporting dry run execution
- Managing post-cutover verification and business monitoring activities
- Supporting readiness tracking and cutover runbook management
- Proven experience in a cutover, deployment or transition analyst role on a sizeable IT programme
- Strong documentation skills and a process-driven approach
- Comfortable working across both technical and business-facing teams
- Familiarity with go-live readiness frameworks and cutover runbooks
- Based in NZ and available for a 10-month contract
Why This Role
This isn't a background support role. You'll be central to one of the more complex go-live events happening in NZ right now, on a programme with genuine executive visibility. The team is experienced, the challenge is real, and
10 months gives you a solid run at something worth doing.
Auckland Central location with hybrid working, three days in the office each week.
