We're working with a well-known Auckland-based organisation to find a capable Communications Advisor to join their team on a 6 month contract.
This is a hands-on, delivery-focused role sitting within a busy communications function that operates at pace, where clear, timely messaging genuinely matters to the people who rely on it.

The Role
You'll be responsible for developing and delivering customer-focused communications across a range of digital channels, ensuring the public, stakeholders, and delivery partners receive clear, consistent, and well-timed messaging.
The role blends hands-on content production with considered communications thinking, and you'll need to be comfortable doing both.
  
Day-to-day you'll be:
  • Producing high volumes of digital and web content to tight turnaround times
  • Developing customer-facing communications
  • Coordinating content updates across websites, digital platforms, and customer information channels
  • Reviewing communications from external partners and contractors to ensure consistency and alignment
  • Providing communications advice and identifying potential reputational or customer risk
  • Supporting communications for major events, campaigns, and public-facing initiatives
  • Contributing to messaging for significant programmes
  • Ensuring content remains clear, accessible, and consistent across a broad stakeholder and partner ecosystem
  • Supporting the development of communications strategies, plans, and channel approaches
You'll likely bring:
  • Solid experience producing digital and web content in a high-volume, operational environment
  • Excellent writing and editing skills. You can simplify complex information without losing accuracy
  • A background in a sector where customer communications are time-sensitive and high-stakes
  • The ability to balance strategic thinking with practical, fast-turnaround delivery
  • Confidence managing multiple stakeholders and reviewing partner-produced content
  • A good understanding of audience-focused communications and channel planning
  • Familiarity with websites, content management systems, and digital customer channels
