Infrastructure Architect | Contract (3 Months) | You choose office location in Auckland
Our client is a well-established healthcare organisation with multiple sites across the City of Sails. They're embarking on a significant infrastructure transformation which includes migrating legacy on-premise systems to a modern cloud environment.
This is a hands-on contract role where your ability to understand and unpick old, complex infrastructure is just as important as your cloud expertise. It's meaty, meaningful work with real impact.
Your main responsibilities include:
• Assessing and documenting existing legacy on-premise infrastructure ahead of migration
• Leading and contributing to the planning and execution of cloud migration activities
• Working closely with internal IT teams and stakeholders across multiple sites to ensure a smooth transition
• Identifying risks, dependencies, and technical constraints within the legacy environment
To be successful in this role, you'll have/bring:
• Proven experience working with legacy on-premise infrastructure
• Demonstrated experience delivering cloud migration projects, preferably in Azure
• Strong communication skills — you can translate complex technical detail for non-technical stakeholders
• Bonus: Experience working within a healthcare or hospital environment
• You must have the right to work in New Zealand and be based in Auckland.
