About the Role
You’ll lead a team of four BI Developers and play a key role in shaping and delivering the organisation’s data and reporting capability.
Your focus will be:
- 50% hands-on BI development
- 40% stakeholder engagement, requirements and solution design
- 10% team leadership and mentoring
- Lead and support a high-performing BI team
- Translate business requirements into effective data models, pipelines, and reporting solutions
- Develop and maintain data warehouse components and reporting assets
- Enhance BI tools, practices, and processes
- Work closely with business stakeholders to deliver clear insights and analytics
- Drive innovation across data and reporting initiatives
We’re looking for someone with strong hands-on capability across modern BI tools.
Core experience:
- Snowflake or similar cloud data warehouse
- Wherescape, DBT, Coalesce, or SSIS
- Power BI or Tableau
- Strong SQL skills
Nice to have:
- Python
- PowerShell
- Exposure to AI or machine‑learning‑driven tooling
- Strong hands-on BI development background
- Confident working with stakeholders to understand needs and shape solutions
- Able to lead, mentor and support a small technical team
- Comfortable working across both strategy and delivery
- Curious, collaborative, and proactive
Formal management experience is welcome but not essential, attitude and leadership potential are equally valued.
