We are looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst for a government contract in Wellington. This is a hands-on role focused on uplifting IT operations maturity across a large, multi-team enterprise environment.
About the Role
You'll work alongside technical SMEs to assess, redesign, and embed operational practices across a suite of platform product teams. Expect facilitation, process improvement, ITSM workflow redesign, and cross-team coaching — with a focus on making things work better in practice, not just on paper.
What You'll Bring
- Proven BA experience in IT operations improvement across multiple teams
- Strong SOP/procedure authoring skills with real operational depth
- Hands-on ITSM experience (Cherwell or similar)
- Confident facilitator and cross-team communicator
- Experience with Azure DevOps or equivalent tooling
- SRE concepts (toil reduction, operational playbooks)
- Background in Cloud, Networks, Enterprise Applications, or IDAM
- Experience in regulated or Defence-related environments
- NZ Secret Security Clearance is mandatory
- NZ citizen or permanent resident
- Wellington-based
