About the role
Working within a busy complex environment, you'll support the assessment and readiness of devices and workspaces ahead of a Windows 11 upgrade.
This is a hands-on BA role that will see you spending time across different sites, speaking directly with users to understand how devices are used, identify potential risks and ensure upgrade requirements are clearly understood.
You'll be responsible for:
- Conducting device and desktop audits across sites.
- Engaging with users to understand workflows and how technology is used within their environment.
- Assessing existing devices, including device type, age and suitability for Windows 11.
- Identifying risks, dependencies and potential issues that could impact migration.
- Capturing and documenting findings to support upgrade and deployment planning.
- Working closely with other Business Analysts and programme stakeholders across the wider modernisation programme.
We're looking for a practical, confident Business Analyst who is comfortable getting out into the business, asking the right questions and working directly with a wide range of users. You'll ideally bring:
- Previous Business Analyst experience within technology, infrastructure or transformation projects. Ideally, you'll bring experience supporting Windows migrations or desktop/device upgrade programmes
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- The ability to understand workflows and translate what you see and hear into clear requirements, risks and actions.
- Confidence working directly with frontline users and technical teams.
- A practical, organised approach and willingness to work across multiple sites.
