Join an stablished organisation offering innovative software solutions and products. This is a varied sales role blending client visits with technical sales support. 

About the role
This is a hands-on sales role sitting at the intersection of account management and technical sales support, based in Auckland and reporting to the General Manager of Sales. You will be the go-to person for both nurturing existing client relationships and keeping the sales engine running efficiently behind the scenes. Your key responsibilities include:
  • Visiting existing clients to identify upgrade and add-on opportunities, as well as supporting new business development
  • Preparing detailed Bills of Materials (BOMs) and accurate costing spreadsheets for project-based work
  • Assisting in the preparation and issuance of sales quotes for both project and consumable orders
  • Processing sales orders accurately within internal systems
  • Liaising with suppliers and internal stakeholders to confirm pricing, availability, and product specifications
  • Maintaining organised records of quotes, orders, and project documentation
  • Supporting the sales team in responding to customer queries with technical and product-related information
About you
You are someone who is equally comfortable in front of a client as you are in a spreadsheet. You are methodical, commercially minded, and confident communicating at all levels. You'll bring:
  • Proven experience in account management, technical sales support, estimating, or a similar role
  • Strong Microsoft Excel and Word skills, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks and meet deadlines without dropping the ball
  • Clear, confident communicator — both written and verbal
  • A proactive, customer-focused approach to problem-solving
  • Experience in the security, building services, or IT/networking industries is a real advantage
  • Familiarity with ERP or CRM systems for order processing is a bonus
