Melissa recently advanced from Candidate Manager to Operations Manager at Momentum, after more than two years supporting our Accounting, Finance and Risk recruitment team in Wellington. During this time, she built lasting relationships with candidates and employers while developing a strong understanding of New Zealand’s finance talent pool. Melissa specialised in sourcing and supporting roles such as Management Accountant, Financial Accountant and Financial Analyst, while also contributing to the successful placement of senior finance professionals, including Chief Financial Officers, Finance Managers & Financial Controllers. 
  
With her proven ability to manage recruitment processes and deep knowledge of how our recruitment agency operates, it felt only natural for Melissa to step up as Operations Manager. In her role, she is responsible for streamlining internal processes, driving operational efficiency, and implementing strategic initiatives that support long-term business growth. She plays a key role in process optimisation, workflow improvement, compliance, and quality assurance, ensuring the team can consistently deliver a seamless, five-star service to clients and candidates alike. 
  
Her background in candidate management gives her a unique perspective on both the operational and people-centric aspects of recruitment, allowing her to balance efficiency with a strong commitment to candidate care and client satisfaction. Melissa is also a proud supporter of Wellington Free Ambulance and takes part in regular fundraising events for the charity.
