Julia is a Corporate Accountant based in Wellington, working at NZ Recruitment company Momentum Consulting Group. Since joining Momentum in 2022, Julia has taken on increasing responsibilities and has become a trusted member of the corporate finance team, known for her analytical precision and collaborative approach. She is a full Chartered Accountant. 

Before joining Momentum, Julia developed a solid foundation in financial operations and reporting through a finance internship and then a management accountant position. She now supports the smooth operation of Momentum’s financial systems including monthly reporting, budgeting, and overseeing payment runs. Her ability to balance both routine accounting functions and broader financial analysis reflects her deep understanding of the business and her commitment to continuous improvement. 

Outside of the office, Julia leads an active and community-focused lifestyle. She frequents leadership and development events run by Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand, and is a dedicated scout leader, often spending her evenings guiding outdoor adventures and building leadership skills with youth.  

Julia’s commitment to both her professional growth and community involvement exemplifies her well-rounded approach to life and work. She continues to seek new challenges and opportunities to contribute meaningfully, both at Momentum and beyond, balancing her career with her passions for leadership, the outdoors, and lifelong learning. 


FAQs 

When will I be paid? 

The details of your assignment including pay schedule can be found in Schedule 1 of your Independent Contractor Agreement. We will also send reminder emails with details of when your timesheet needs to be completed by in order for your payment to be processed on time.

Who do I contact for finance-related queries? 

You can contact us at help@momentum.co.nz for all finance-related questions, including but not limited to queries about withholding tax, changes to timesheet approvers, or issues with logging your timesheet. This ensures all members of our finance team can easily step in to assist with queries and prevents emails from getting lost in someone’s inbox.
