About the Organisation:
Our client, a highly respected Kiwi brand, has recently completed a major investment in transforming how it delivers change, introducing a comprehensive new framework for delivery governance, methodology, and operating rhythms. With a newly structured Transformation Office in place, they are now seeking a Ways of Working Lead
to embed and evolve their delivery ways of working across the business.
About the Role:
This is a pivotal role focused on standardising and optimising delivery practices across Agile squads and Waterfall project teams. The successful candidate will lead the rollout and ongoing improvement of delivery methodologies, ensuring clarity, consistency, and alignment with strategic outcomes.
This role will be essential in guiding the business through the next phase: from post-implementation to iterative improvement, supporting leaders, delivery teams, and stakeholders every step of the way.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the embedding and evolution of delivery frameworks, methodologies, and governance models.
- Ensure consistent delivery practices across projects, programmes, and teams.
- Manage the Scrum Master practice and facilitate cross-squad collaboration through Scrum of Scrums.
- Partner with executive sponsors, product owners, and delivery leads to embed new behaviours and roles.
- Identify and implement continuous improvements through data and feedback.
- Balance Agile and traditional delivery approaches pragmatically and effectively.
About You
- Current work experience in roles similar to, or including, Transformation Coach, Ways of Working Lead or Business Agility Lead
- Deep experience in both Agile and Waterfall delivery environments —you know when to apply what, and why.
- An early background in roles like Agile Coach, Scrum Master, Project Manager, or Product Owner —you’ve historically been on the tools and understand the delivery trenches.
- Skilled at embedding new ways of working and leading change across large, complex environments.
- Experience building or leading delivery capability (e.g., Scrum Master or PM practices).
- Confident working with senior stakeholders, with strong communication and coaching skills.
- A pragmatic, outcomes-first mindset—focused on making real, iterative improvements rather than chasing perfection.
This is a rare opportunity to step into a high-impact position with clear executive support and significant investment already made. You’ll lead the journey from foundation to excellence - bringing structure, rhythm, and improvement to every delivery part.
