The Transition Manager
plays an strategic role involving program leadership, change management, and working closely with senior stakeholders. You'll be providing strategic oversight and managing the successful transition of services from a local council into a new operating entity. Your responsibilities will include:
- Develop and implement strategic change management plans using proven frameworks (e.g., Kotter’s, ADKAR, Prosci).
- Collaborate across the organisation to ensure all aspects of the transition are addressed, from systems to culture.
- Serve as the interface point between internal council functions, providing guidance and support throughout the change process.
- Work closely with senior leadership teams to ensure people, processes, and technology align with the council’s future operating environment.
- 6month contract, part-time hours, working 2-3 days onsite at Otorohanga.
