Now, we’re scaling our product focus – and we’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join us at a pivotal point.
Our flagship platform, Numa, is transforming how businesses harness AI. Deployed directly into client-owned AWS environments, Numa ensures top-tier security while enabling powerful, chat-based AI tools and integrations that drive productivity, insights, and better decision-making.

What You’ll Work On
You’ll join a tight-knit team of engineers and data scientists responsible for the evolution of Numa. Your work will span feature development, infrastructure, AI model integration, and secure deployment. You’ll shape architecture, improve performance, and help clients realise real-world benefits through AI.
You will:
- Design and build scalable, production-grade services using Python and AWS (Lambda, API Gateway, Step Functions)
- Build secure, automated infrastructure with CDKTF and deploy into client AWS environments
- Collaborate closely with data scientists and UX to implement intelligent, intuitive features
- Maintain high engineering standards through code reviews, automated testing, and observability
- Solve real customer problems, from architecture to fine-tuning AI model interactions
- Stay ahead of AI trends and help shape product direction
What We’re Looking For
You’re an experienced software engineer with a strong interest in AI/ML and cloud technologies. You enjoy solving complex problems, working in a fast-paced environment, and building tools that make a difference.
Key skills:
- 3–5+ years in software engineering, with strong Python skills
- Experience deploying serverless applications on AWS (Lambda, API Gateway, Step Functions)
- Infrastructure-as-code using Terraform/CDKTF
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (GitLab)
- Solid understanding of ML concepts and integrating AI services (e.g. AWS Bedrock)
- Comfortable with ambiguity, data-rich environments, and experimentation
- Strong communication skills and a team-first mindset
Bonus points for:
- Experience with front-end (React, JS)
- Understanding of MLOps and operationalising AI in production
- Knowledge of data privacy and security best practices
