We are on the hunt for an experienced Senior Network Engineer to support a large, highly secure enterprise network environment spanning datacentres, major campuses, and extensive remote sites (including offshore locations).
This is a hands-on senior role working across complex, multi-vendor networks with strong operational and security requirements.
About the role
- Building and maintaining large-scale IPSec VPN networks
- Supporting and optimising datacentre switching fabrics
- Troubleshooting complex network issues across campus and remote sites
- Working closely with field teams to resolve site-based incidents
- Collaborating with internal technical teams to build, test, commission and decommission network services
- Engaging with vendors and partner agencies on delivery and support
- Providing technical leadership and mentoring to a small team of engineers
- Contributing to documentation, standards and continuous improvement
You are an experienced professional with SV security clearance. you'll bring:
- Strong routing experience with OSPF and BGP
- Hands-on experience with IPSec VPNs
- Multi-vendor network environments, including: Cisco routing and switching, Juniper routing and switching, and Palo Alto NGFW.
- Working experience with Ansible and Git
- Solid understanding of IP telephony
- Certifications on Cisco CCNP and/or CCIE; Juniper JNCIP, and/or Palo Alto PCNSE.
- Bonus: Azure networking (Virtual WAN, ExpressRoute), CI/CD pipelines (AzureDevOps), Hybrid cloud and cloud migrations, PKI Cisco SD-WAN experience.
