It’s an opportunity to develop effective relationships with the leadership team in the Corporate portfolio, influencing and supporting senior business leaders and people managers, driving the people strategy that will deliver improved business results.

The Role:

Reporting to the Head of Business Partnering for the Corporate Portfolio, the senior HR Business Partner will lead a small team of HR Advisors delivering end to end people related advice and services. Whilst themselves, they will work closely with members of the ELT and other senior peers including an L&OD Business Partner for the Corporate portfolio.

The People & Culture team is sizeable and almost nationwide, with a trusting culture, enjoying a laugh most days! You’ll have team members in the central Auckland office and others in Wellington, using Teams to stay in regular contact with them.

There are succession plans for all, and this role is no exception ...And this is why deep HR Generalist expertise is sought!

About You:

  • You bring extensive HR experience in complex, large-scale environments (15+ years preferred), with expertise in strategic business partnering and change management.
  • Strong track record of partnering with senior leadership, influencing decision-making, and leading HR transformations.
  • Commercially astute, confident and credible when speaking with Senior Leaders.
  • Exceptional coaching skills and experience in fostering leadership capability.
  • Demonstrated experience in a leadership role, with proven success in team development and performance enhancement.
