In this role, you will:
- Develop and deliver tailored communications and engagement plans to ensure effective stakeholder engagement.
- Create and distribute reports to local boards and respond to public and stakeholder enquiries.
- Support project teams and contractors in navigating stakeholder issues and communication needs.
- Manage incoming information requests with clarity and efficiency.
- Help evolve and implement the overarching communications strategy, including introducing new channels and engagement tools.
- A minimum of 7 years’ experience in communications and/or engagement roles.
- Proven experience writing and executing comms and engagement plans in complex or high-profile environments.
- The ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining quality and consistency.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills and political nous.
- Bonus : Experience working in a digital newsroom or similarly fast-paced media environment.
