We’re working with a dynamic organisation who are looking to hire a Senior Communications & Engagement Specialist to help bring their vision to life.

This is your opportunity to join a fast-paced, purpose-driven team that plays a vital role in shaping how key projects are received by the public and stakeholders alike.

In this role, you will:

  • Develop and deliver tailored communications and engagement plans to ensure effective stakeholder engagement.
  • Create and distribute reports to local boards and respond to public and stakeholder enquiries.
  • Support project teams and contractors in navigating stakeholder issues and communication needs.
  • Manage incoming information requests with clarity and efficiency.
  • Help evolve and implement the overarching communications strategy, including introducing new channels and engagement tools.
What we’re looking for:
  • A minimum of 7 years’ experience in communications and/or engagement roles.
  • Proven experience writing and executing comms and engagement plans in complex or high-profile environments.
  • The ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining quality and consistency.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills and political nous.
  • Bonus : Experience working in a digital newsroom or similarly fast-paced media environment.
