As a key senior member of the development team, you’ll lead solution design, guide best-practice development patterns, and work across a wide range of enterprise technology projects. You’ll collaborate closely with architects, delivery teams, and business stakeholders to create solutions that are robust, scalable, and fit for purpose.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys rolling up their sleeves, solving complex problems, and contributing to a supportive, agile, and high-performing team. Your work will include:
- Hands-on coding, testing, debugging, and documentation
- Building prototypes and proof-of-concepts
- Providing technical leadership, mentoring, and direction to other developers
- Analysing and resolving operational issues alongside functional and technical teams
- Ensuring technical quality, performance, and adherence to standards
- 7+ years' commercial experience as a Senior Developer
- Strong C# and .Net development capability
- Database development experience (MSSQL or PostgreSQL)
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure and/or AWS)
- Experience working with microservices, API design (Swagger/RAML), and containerised environments
- Agile development experience
- Experience mentoring and providing technical leadership
- Docker and Kubernetes
- Front-end experience with React, JavaScript, or AngularJS
- Data streaming technologies (Kafka, Service Bus)
- CI/CD pipeline creation and automation
