12-month fixed term | Wellington | Hybrid (3 days office, 2 remote)
We’re looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst on a 12-month fixed-term contract, based in Wellington. This role suits someone with excellent analysis and writing skills and a strong interest in cyber and information security.
You’ll focus on security governance, policy, and process, supporting alignment with the Protective Security Requirements (PSR) framework. While cyber security knowledge is helpful, you don’t need to be a technical specialist — you’ll be supported by subject matter experts.
What you’ll do
- Review and rewrite security policies and processes to align with PSR
- Finalise and embed a system criticality framework with stakeholders
- Map the DevSecOps Solution Delivery Lifecycle to the existing SDLC
- Identify cyber security training gaps and support development of materials
- Design and document a NZISM-aligned document review process
- Strong senior-level business analysis experience
- Exceptional written communication and documentation skills
- Confidence running stakeholder sessions and workshops
- Interest in cyber security and security governance
- Ability to work effectively in a small, collaborative team
- Wellington-based (non-negotiable)
- Hybrid working: 3 days in office, 2 remote (Wednesday anchor day)
