We’re looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst
to support improvements to finance systems, including the implementation of SAP Analytics Cloud
for budgeting, planning, and reporting. This role is a great fit for someone who enjoys working closely with both the business and technical teams to shape meaningful solutions.
You'll be working alongside stakeholders across finance, IT, and the wider organisation to understand their needs, map processes, and help deliver reporting and budgeting tools that genuinely support better decision-making.
What you’ll be doing
- Engaging with stakeholders to understand and document finance and reporting requirements
- Designing reporting solutions that are aligned with business needs
- Mapping current and future state processes, identifying gaps, and recommending improvements
- Translating business needs into clear, actionable technical specifications
- Supporting the rollout of SAP Analytics Cloud for budgeting, planning, and reporting
- Collaborating closely with developers, architects, and finance teams to ensure successful delivery
- A strong ability to uncover, analyse, and document reporting and finance-related requirements
- Experience designing practical, user-focused reporting solutions
- Confidence in mapping processes and identifying areas for improvement
- Great communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to work across business units
- An understanding of financial data, KPIs, and dashboards
- Familiarity with SAP Analytics Cloud would be a real bonus
You understand how finance works and can easily pick up the language and needs of finance teams. You’re thorough, organised, and take pride in getting the detail right. You enjoy collaborating across teams and building strong relationships, and you’re always thinking about how to deliver something that really works for the end user. You’re also comfortable in fast-paced environments and open to learning new tools and technologies.
Your experience
You’ll bring a solid background in finance systems projects—ideally with hands-on experience in budgeting, planning, and reporting tools. If you’ve worked with SAP, especially SAP Analytics Cloud, that would be ideal (but not essential). You’ve likely been involved in end-to-end projects and understand what it takes to support business readiness and successful adoption.
