We are looking for a confident and proactive Senior Application Support
professional, to join our client on a 6-month contract.
Your remit will involve supporting the second phase of a major SaaS implementation
across a dynamic enterprise environment.
This role requires someone who can hit the ground running – no handover, some ambiguity, and a backlog of tickets waiting to be triaged and tackled. You’ll work across multiple teams, provide mentoring support to junior staff, and bring clarity to new system processes through documentation and collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as Technical Lead across support and implementation activities for new SaaS systems
- Triage, prioritise and resolve issues from the existing ticket backlog
- Liaise with vendors and internal stakeholders to troubleshoot and escalate where required
- Collaborate across teams and actively participate in Agile ceremonies
- Develop clear and effective system documentation and support materials
- Coach and mentor 1–2 junior team members
- Help evaluate the current rollout and contribute to the planning for future business units
- 5+ years in senior engineering/support roles with a strong SaaS focus
- Experience supporting both SaaS and on-premise business systems (a bonus if you have worked with procurement systems)
- Strong experience in vendor and contract management
- Excellent communication skills in English – both written and verbal
- Confident working independently, asking the right questions, and resolving roadblocks
- Ability to work 3 days per week in the Auckland CBD office
