Are you an experienced B2B sales professional with a proven track record managing high-value national accounts?
Our client, a leader in the food manufacturing space, is seeking a commercial heavyweight to take over a pivotal portfolio within the business.
This role represents an exciting opportunity to step into a high-impact position with growth potential into senior leadership. You’ll report directly to a key member of the commercial leadership team and work closely with cross-functional departments including technical, marketing, operations, and finance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and grow relationships with major industrial, retail, and QSR accounts across New Zealand
- Drive sales growth and product portfolio expansion
- Lead commercial negotiations and contract renewals
- Contribute to national sales strategy, forecasting, and business planning
- Leverage internal R&D and technical insights to deliver innovative solutions to customers
- Use data-driven insights (via Salesforce, SAP, and Tableau) to inform and adjust sales approaches
- Extensive experience managing complex key accounts in a B2B environment
- Background in manufacturing and/or the food industry
- Strong commercial acumen and ability to negotiate with senior stakeholders
- A hunter mindset – confident in identifying new business opportunities and supporting NPD
- High emotional intelligence and excellent relationship management skills
- Familiarity with CRM and reporting systems – Salesforce, SAP, Tableau or similar
