We’re seeking a skilled Management Accountant
to join a growing business in the property sector building quality residential housing from high-end luxury homes to social housing projects. It’s a 9-month fixed term contract
to cover parental leave with the potential to extend if you’re wired for BPI and you fit well with the corporate support team.
This is a chance to step into a varied role, taking responsibility for the month end reporting, combining your advanced Excel spreadsheet skills, your drive to automate and streamline and your accounting experience.

The role:
You’ll be responsible for managing the month end management reporting file while playing a key role in transforming how the finance function operates. Your ability to streamline processes, implement automation, and build intuitive Power BI dashboards will be highly valued as the business continues to grow and evolve.
Key responsibilities:
- Deliver accurate month end management reporting for the Finance Manager and SLT by driving the Excel file for this.
- Develop and enhance Power BI dashboards to support data-driven decision making.
- Identify and implement automation opportunities within finance processes.
- Support the team with financial modelling and strategic projects.
- Interact with other teams to complete margin analysis, cashflow management and forecasting.
- Background in management accounting, ideally within the property or infrastructure sectors, where you have been proactive in streamlining and automating business processes.
- Advanced skills in Excel and Power BI, with experience in Xero an advantage.
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills.
- Strong attention to detail and take pride in your work.
- Hands-on, a quick learner, and adaptable to a fast-paced environment.
- Proactive and able to upwardly manage to the Finance Manager.
- Agile and open to working in a dynamic environment with a mix of structured and unstructured, being the nature of the construction industry.
