Our client, a leading international education provider based in their Auckland Campus, is seeking a highly skilled Learning and Teaching Projects Lead to drive innovation in their curriculum and pedagogy.

This is a pivotal, hands-on leadership role where your expertise will directly impact the success of students in an increasingly digital and AI-influenced world.

Whats on offer:
 
Reporting to the Academic Director, you will be the driving force behind the design and implementation of innovative, high-quality teaching practices. You will mentor and guide academic teams in developing engaging, experiential learning and assessment approaches that are cutting-edge, industry-aligned, and reflective of the client's high standards.

Key Leadership Projects and Responsibilities:
  • Project Leadership: Spearhead organisation-wide initiatives, including the full implementation of their Experiential Learning Framework and developing AI-safe assessment strategies.
  • Capability Building: Provide essential professional development and coaching to academic staff, enhancing their teaching capabilities and effectiveness.
  • Advisory Role: Offer expert advice on curriculum design, assessment integrity, and the effective integration of learning technology.
  • Future Focus: Champion research-informed and future-focused teaching methodologies across all academic programmes.
  • Representation: Act as a key representative for the organisation in internal, national, and international education forums.
What You Will Bring
 
To be successful in this high-impact role, you must possess a compelling blend of academic achievement, practical teaching experience, and proven project leadership skills:
  • Academic Credentials: A Master's degree or higher is required, along with a tertiary teaching qualification.
  • Pedagogical Expertise: Proven tertiary teaching experience combined with deep, practical knowledge of learning theory, with a focus on experiential learning.
  • Project & Leadership Skills: Demonstrable strong project management and leadership capabilities, ideally leading change in a complex educational environment.
  • Design Experience: Hands-on experience designing and improving curricula, developing assessments, and enhancing online learning experiences.
  • Cultural Commitment: A genuine commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi principles and promoting truly inclusive education practices.
  • Soft Skills: Exceptional ability to engage, motivate, and communicate effectively with diverse academic stakeholders while successfully managing multiple, complex priorities.
