About the role:
As the face of Learning and Organisational Development (L&OD) for the Corporate Portfolio, you’ll work closely with senior leaders and stakeholders to shape and deliver L&OD initiatives that align with organisational needs and drive performance.
Reporting to the Head of L&OD, you’ll be part of a collaborative and supportive team and will have the opportunity to influence leadership development, embed DEI practices, and foster an engaged, high-performing culture.
Key focus areas:
- Leadership: Design and deliver leadership development programmes; support the organisation’s DEI strategy and initiatives.
- Performance: Manage and oversee the annual performance development cycle and processes.
- Engagement: Lead the delivery of Peakon quarterly pulse surveys; drive action planning and outcomes with business leaders.
- You bring strong experience in Organisational Development and HR Business Partnering, ideally in large, complex organisations, with an understanding of Learning too.
- You are confident building relationships and working with senior stakeholders (able to push back respectfully and influence with credibility) and enjoy being a trusted advisor and business partner.
- You take a commercial and pragmatic approach, with the ability to balance strategic thinking and hands-on delivery (such as, quickly designing and delivering a workshop).
- You are practical, solutions-focused, able to drive out complexity (simplify), down to earth, and can thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- You bring energy and strong facilitation and presentation skills, to confidently hold a room, including senior business leaders who may challenge you.
- Experienced enabling effective leadership during times of change and bringing those resisting change on the journey.
- Basic Te Reo or a willingness to learn is highly valued and supported.
- Tertiary qualifications in a related discipline such as Psychology, Human Resources, or Commerce.
