Digital Product Owner (6-month contract)

We’re recruiting for a hands-on Digital Product Owner to drive people, process, and technology change across critical systems that support real-time network communication. This is your opportunity to deliver high-impact change for internal teams and improve how information is communicated to the public.

The role:

Working closely with digital product and operational teams, you’ll lead improvements to an internal command system that powers real-time updates across mobile apps and websites.

You’ll bridge the gap between product design, systems thinking, and frontline operations to ensure new tools and processes are not just launched — but embedded and adopted.

What you’ll do:

• Lead delivery of integrated change across digital products, systems, and operational processes.
• Work closely with Product Owners, Designers, Engineers, and operations teams to ensure solutions are practical and user-ready.
• Map and understand end-to-end communication processes.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to embed new ways of working.
• Feed change initiatives into Agile delivery cycles and continuous improvement workflows.

• A digital-savvy change agent who’s as comfortable with systems and software as they are with frontline teams.
• Proven experience in delivering change across people, process, and technology.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement skills – especially in complex or fast-moving environments.
• Ability to work across ambiguity, define problems, and bring clarity.
• Experience in digital product, service design, operational improvement, or agile delivery.

• Experience with real-time communications or operational control systems.
• Exposure to infrastructure-heavy or enterprise environments.

• Influence high-impact, customer-facing digital tools.
• Be part of a high-priority programme with strong backing.
• Shape how information is delivered in moments that matter most.
