We're partnering with a kaupapa Māori organisation working across Tāmaki Makaurau and Te Tai Tokerau, supporting whānau through social services and advocacy. They're looking for a Corporate Services Manager with strong communications expertise and a talent for building relationships, securing funding, and telling powerful stories.
Reporting to the CEO, this role is ideal for someone who understands the power of good communication and meaningful engagement. You'll lead internal and external communications, manage media and digital channels, and identify opportunities to grow the organisation's profile and partnerships while overseeing other corporate functions. Fundraising, government relations, and stakeholder engagement will be a key part of your remit.
You'll manage one direct report and work closely with contractors across IT, property, and marketing. It's a key leadership role with real impact.

Key responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver a strong communications strategy
- Manage external communications, media, digital presence and internal messaging
- Create content for reports, publications, and stakeholder updates
- Identify and pursue fundraising and networking opportunities
- Build strong relationships with funders, government, media, and community partners
- Oversee office operations, including facilities, IT, and health & safety
- Lead policy and documentation management across the organisation
- Manage budgets, reporting and general corporate support
- Ensure all work reflects and respects kaupapa Māori values
- A relevant qualification in communications, public relations, or similar
- 5+ years' experience in a communications or engagement leadership role
- Experience identifying and securing funding or partnership opportunities
- Strong writing skills across multiple channels (reports, media, digital)
- Proven experience managing stakeholders, including media and government
- Confidence in representing an organisation externally
- Understanding or experience working in kaupapa Māori settings is highly valued
